Sebagai unggulan baru dari rangkaian ampli terintegrasi seri Classic NAD, Amplifier DAC HybridDigital C 399 membawa komitmen NAD terhadap nilai yang langgeng dan keunggulan sonik ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi.

C 399 menggunakan sirkuit amplifier Hypex HybridDigital nCore NAD, yang hingga saat ini hanya tersedia pada amplifier Masters Series. Bagian digitalnya dibangun di sekitar ESS Sabre DAC 32-bit/384kHz, chip yang sama dengan yang digunakan pada amplifier Masters Series M10 dan M33 yang terkenal dari NAD.

C 399 adalah amplifier pertama yang menggunakan teknologi Modular Design Construction (MDC) generasi terbaru dari NAD. MDC2 memungkinkan pengguna menambahkan modul opsional yang menyediakan fungsi seperti streaming musik multi-ruang BluOS dan koreksi ruang Dirac Live.
