DFRobot Arduino Mega 2560 v3

The DFRduino MEGA2560 is a microcontroller development board based on the ATmega2560. It is fully compatible with the Arduino MEGA2560. It has 54 digital I/O input/output terminals (15 of which can be used for PWM output) and 16 PWM inputs. Group UART (hardware serial ports), using a 16 MHz imported crystal. Thanks to the bootloader, it is possible to download programs directly via USB without going through other external writers. The power supply section can be powered by USB directly or by external power supply using an adapter and battery. The Mega 2560 has 2 times the memory of 1280 and 256K of flash memory.


The Arduino MEGA2560's power supply system has two options, USB direct or external. The choice of power supply will be switched automatically. External power supply can choose adapter or battery. The limit voltage range of this control board is 6V to 20V. However, if the voltage supplied is less than 7V, the I/O port may not be able to supply 5V, so it will be unstable; if provided When the voltage is greater than 12V, the regulator will be overheated and more likely to damage the Arduino MEGA. Therefore, the recommended operation power is 7~12V, and the typical power supply is 9V.

The port is powered as follows:

VIN: Provides input voltage to the Arduino when using an external power supply (5V power supply compared to USB). When powered by a power connector, it can be powered through this port.
5V: This port provides a stable 5V supply through the transformer. If you bypass the transformer to provide a 5V/3.3V power supply, you can damage your Arduino.
IOREF: Provides a reference voltage for the onboard power supply of the Arduino. A suitable compatible expansion board can read the IOREF and select the appropriate power supply and use the transformer.
3.3V: Provides a 3.3V supply of 50mA.
GND: Ground
