Tris HCl 100gram

Tris is short for tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane. This product is the hydrochloride salt of Tris. For precise applications, use a carefully calibrated pH meter with a combined glass/glycury electrode. The pH of all buffers is temperature and concentration dependent. For Tris buffers, the pH decreases by approximately 0.03 units for every 1°C decrease in temperature and by 0.03-0.05 units for every 10-fold dilution in concentration.
