Found in the Lebak Regency, Banten this specimen is a unique piece of Petrified/Fossilized Wood. Originating from the Genteng Formation stratum and formed from volcanic activities dating back as far as 3,6+ million years ago.
During the lower pliocene era, where volcanic activity was high, this specimen was most likely one of the many lowland forest trees that was formed into rock from the constant pyroclastic flows and ashes deposit.
