A Stunningly Elegant Kit Even by DW Standards
The Smoke Glass Contrails finish and gold hardware on this 7-piece DW Collector’s Series SSC Maple Shell Pack look so good that you almost won’t want to play it! Fortunately, in typical DW fashion, it sounds just as good. The SSC Maple shells have been selected and crafted by DW’s master artisans to ensure that each shell reaches its full tonal potential and that the drums play together as a cohesive musical instrument. The 18- x 22-inch kick drum and the 7- x 14-inch snare are slightly deeper than standard, resulting in a deep and solid backbeat. However, the toms and floor toms are slightly shallower than standard toms, so they’ll sing loud and clear. Played together, this kit has a tonal range and elegant appearance that Sweetwater drummers have likened to playing an exquisite grand piano in drum set form.
SSC shells for a unified sound
