THIEAUDIO Oracle MKIII - 2024 Updated Configuration and Tuning
The Oracle and Oracle MKII were THIEAUDIO’s take on budget-friendly tri-brid studio monitors, designed to offer top-notch studio sound quality and resolution at an affordable price. Now, with several new innovations, THIEAUDIO has upgraded the Oracle series. The bass drivers have been enhanced for a more powerful sub-bass, and the tuning has been adjusted based on two years of customer feedback to create a more natural and immersive listening experience.
IMPACT2 Subwoofer System
The Oracle MKIII is equipped with THIEAUDIO's latest IMPACT2 subwoofer system. This system features two dynamic drivers arranged in an isobaric design, significantly improving sub-bass depth and texture. As a result, the Oracle MKIII delivers a bass response that's stronger, tighter, and more detailed compared to earlier models.
Professional Studio Tuning
Staying true to its roots, the Oracle MKIII continues to serve as a true studio monitor. The bass is focused in the sub-bass range, providing a punch for drummers and bassists while keeping the mids flat and neutral. Thanks to its balanced midrange and 4-way crossover system, instruments and vocals are well-positioned and layered. The treble has been refined to be smoother than the Oracle MKII, addressing past critiques, but it still utilizes the 2 Sonion EST tweeters for microdetails and high-frequency extension.
4-Way Crossover + 3 Sound Tubes
The Oracle MKIII features THIEAUDIO’s advanced 4-way crossover system, which sets it apart in the industry. With a passive crossover network and three separate sound tubes for each driver type, the Oracle MKIII offers outstanding sound separation, imaging, and layering.
Updated Modular Cable System
The Oracle MKIII now includes a modular cable system, allowing users to switch between 4.4mm, 3.5mm, and 2.5mm plug types, making it compatible with a variety of devices.
