Aquapharm SORB 4 Phosphate remover

Aquapharm SORB-4 is a specially manufactured Phosphate Adsorption Media (PAM) which was developed for the removal of phosphate (PO4), the main cause of algae problems. SORB-4 has an extra longlife, the media last a lot longer than other conventional PAM due to their high capacity.
SORB-4 has an extremely high specific surface area of approximately 732,400 ft²/lb which provides many adsorption sites for phosphate. Due to the low density, SORB-4 has three times higher adsorption capacity on a weight basis than wet adsorbents. It binds phosphate far stronger than most other PAM and does not leach back out even after the full adsorption capacity is reached.
