Practical Kanji-An introductory Kanji Textbook presents the study process of kanjis in a very different way. The first volume is divided into 23 lessons in which around 12 kanjis are taught per unit. Each lesson is divided in different areas of knowledge numbers, days of the week etc. Besides each unit includes study tables where students will learn the correct way to write each kanji and all possible ways to read them. Then, the book includes . writing, listening and reading comprehension exercises to help students memorizing each kanji and all its meanings. When students move along, texts use kanjis that have been learnt before in different contexts.

The book is written in Japanese with translations into Vietnamese and English of all texts and words. Besides, it includes a CD with PDF sheets so that students can review all kanjis. In addition, the book comes with a semi-transparent red plastic sheet to help learners memorize all possible ways to pronounce each kanji.

The first two volumes of Practical Kanji have 500 kanjis from levels 4 and 5 of the JLPT exam. For this reason, the book can be also used as a tool to prepare the test.
