GY-906 MLX90614ESF adalah modul sensor suhu yang bekerja dengan cara mendeteksi sinar infrared yang dipancarkan oleh sebuah objek, perbedaan suhu menghasilkan perbedaan intensitas sinar infra red yang dipancarkan, dengan begitu sensor ini dapat mendeteksi suhu tanpa harus melakukan sentuhan ke objek yang mau diukur (Contactless).
Dengan prinsip contactless ini memungkinkan sensor untuk mengukur suhu object yang ekstrim yaitu dengan rentang -70C s/d 380C dengan resolusi 0.02C.
Sangat cocok diaplkasikan dengan Arduino atau minsys lainnya untuk keperluan pengukuran suhu badan deteksi pertama suspek Corona
