It is designed to minimize powerconsumption through the use of a highefficiency power supply and a low powerchipset.With a low 2.8W typical power consumption*,and a reduction in power during after-workhours (overnight mode) – as well as otherpower saving features included as standard, theAllied Telesis AT-FS716L truly lives up to it’sname as an ‘eco friendly’ switch. Not only does this help the planet by reducingthe carbon footprint of each switch, it alsolowers the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) tothe user, as the product costs less to run, andhas improved reliability. With all of these power saving features, thenew eco friendly AT-FS716L saves the user upto 48% in power consumption over ourprevious version (see power saving table).
