This high accuracy, fully waterproof (IP67) thermometer is designed to measure the temperature of food, fast. Like many other ETI thermometers, the TempTest has ETI’s leading response time and can measure the temperature of food in just 3 seconds. Results are highly accurate and you’ll get a stable reading almost instantly when using this product. The ETI TempTest is equipped with a 360° automatically rotating display. This will automatically turn the display around at angles of 90° depending on where the thermometer is held, making it much easier to read. This thermometer has a permanently attached, pointed stainless steel food penetration probe with diameter of 3.3mm and length of 80mm. ETI’s TempTest 1 is powered by 2 x standard AAA batteries with minimum life expectancy of 5000 hours (with the backlight disabled).
