To format an unallocated M.2 SSD on a Windows PC, you can use the Disk Management utility:
1. Right-click the Start menu and select Disk Management
2. Right-click the Unallocated space
3. Select New Simple Volume
4. Click Next
5. Specify the volume size in megabytes (MB) or accept the default size
6. Click Next
7. Select a drive letter
8. Click Next
9. Click Finish
