The LimeSDR is based on Lime Microsystem’s latest generation of field programmable RF transceiver technology, combined with FPGA and microcontroller chipsets. These connect to a computer via USB 3 with a Type-A connector. LimeSDR then delivers the wireless data and the CPU provides the computing power required to process the incoming signals, and to generate the data to be transmitted by the LimeSDR to all other devices.

LimeSDR USB Type-A is Back!
No Hardware Changes
After almost three years since we announced that LimeSDR would be discontinued, the supply chain instabilities that led to that decision have resolved and we are happy to again make LimeSDR available. The version you can buy right now is exactly the same as the version last available over three years ago - there have been no hardware changes whatsoever in either the PCB or components selection. Note that only LimeSDR USB Type-A has been reintroduced; LimeSDR USB micro Type-B remains discontinued.
Improved Software
LimeSDR USB Type-A is fully supported by the recently released Lime Suite NG software tools and benefits from the many improvements made in those tools since LimeSDR was last available.
General Availability of Lime Products
The reintroduction of LimeSDR USB Type-A coincides with the first stock availability of LimeNET Micro 2.0 Developer Edition (DE), the crowdfunding orders of which recently shipped to backers. The full Lime product line is now stocked: LimeSDR, LimeSDR Mini 2.0, LimeNET Micro 2.0 DE, LimeRFE, LimeSDR XTRX, and LimeFEA mPCIe Carrier Board.
