PV Combiner Box adalah sebuah perangkat yang mengelompokan string PV yang masuk untuk dijumlahkan agar mencapai arus keluaran yang tinggi.
Fungsi utama dari Combiner Box adalah untuk menggabungkan beberapa string panel surya menjadi satu output yang kemudian dihubungkan ke Inverter.
PV Combiner Box ini dilengkapi dengan Surge Protection Device yang handal untuk melindung sistem panel surya dari over voltage contohnya karena sambaran petir, yang dapat merusak komponen lain apabila tidak diproteksi. Selain itu, Combiner Box juga membatasi arus dari panel surya dan memutus arus apabila terjadi over current.
