Carl Uebel and Paul Lechleiter founded #34;Uebel amp; Lechleiter Klavieren #34; in Heilbronn (Germany), 1872. For many years #34;Uebel amp; Lechleiter #34; used to be the house company of the Catholic Church in Rome and it made special instruments for Pope Pius X. It is therefore a company with a very long and famous history. My great-grandmother was a servant of god in the catholic church as a pianist from a young age. In short toward the successful career of her adulthood, she is in search of a piano to own by herself, until she attends an auction of an Uebel amp; Lechleiter Piano that was formerly occupying one of the catholic churches in Batavia/Jakarta, as shown as the fourth photo that this piano was made specifically for a catholic church under the ministry of EDM. Salzmann (EDM. = Executive Director of Ministry) by Uebel amp; Lechleiter company in German. This piano was passed on to each generation, played, and maintained professionally. Until it reaches my generation, who doesn #39;t have the talent, skill, or interest that my great-grandmother had, so it was decided collectively to hand over this antique piece to its new enthusiast owner. In the second photo, it can be seen that there is an additional installment of the heater (the silver cylinder tube) to preserve the quality of the wood, therefore this piano is in excellent shape, with its beautiful patina on each original tuts. However, this piano is in need of tuning to live up to its heyday.
