Product Principle
The temperature probe is used to measure the water temperature. The temperature probe is not in contact with the water and is close to the top of the outer packaging material of the instrument. It needs to be placed at the bottom of the water for a certain time to reflect the actual water temperature. The purpose of measuring water temperature is to correct the velocity of ultrasonic wave in water and the water level value measured by pressure sensor.
The water depth measurement uses the imported high-precision pressure sensor, which is placed at the bottom of the instrument, and the sensing part of the probe is in direct contact with the water.
The measurement of flow velocity is obtained by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic wave signal from ultrasonic probe (transducer) and doing corresponding calculation and processing
Through the average velocity, water level and section size, the section discharge can be obtained.
