Iconic Status
Introduced in 1992, the OctaBass was the very first stompbox effect from EBS, and was based on an onboard effect featured in the legacy EBS Taurus combo. Since then, the OctaBass has gained a legendary status after being used by bassists such as Tony Levin, Roger Glover, Marcus Miller, Tal Wilkenfeld to name a few.
Built to Handle Speed
The OctaBass is equipped with fast tracking, allowing players to perform speedy techniques without the pedal falling behind. Use the higher frets to produce beautiful sub-notes, adding a nice dynamic feel to your tone as it slightly blends with your original sound. Use the normal and octave controls to create the perfect effect for your tone, and toggle the range switch to achieve a range of incredible octaves.
Studio Edition
The Studio Edition comes with an optimised signal path, and a new signal relay switching technique, enhancing the pedal’s tone quality and signal integrity. The pedal is also protected against over voltage use up to 18V, and offers the possibility to power with anything from 9-12V DC. The aesthetics of the pedal have also been redesigned, delivering a fresh new look.
