What does Moemon mean?
Moemon is an English translation of the word, which is an anthropomorphic Pokmon that usually replaces the Pokmon in the game in the form of a role-playing girl. Moemon is a combination of the Japanese word "moe", which may mean cute, fetish, or budding (such as growth). The first moemon project began with the Pokemon ROM hack, in which Japanese hackers replaced all the Pokemon sprites in the game with Chibi girls wearing Pokemon costumes. Since then, English-speaking internet users have been working on it.

Moemon are anthropomorphized Pokemon, usually in the form of cosplaying girls. Moemon is a combination of the Japanese word 'moe' possibly meaning cute, fetish, or budding(as in growth).
