Cthulhu Wars : Azathoth The Azathoth is a unique #34;neutral #34; Faction. Now you can awaken no less that Azathoth itself! Azathoth bristles with mad power and mindless force - potentially bring all of your opponents to their knees. But beware - if Azathoth is eliminated, someone can awaken it, and take charge of its fearful might. This expansion includes four new types of Monsters - Dimensional Shamblers, Elder Things, Servitors of the Outer Gods, and Star Vampires. If you are the first player to summon one of the four new Monster types included, you get that unit #39;s Loyalty Card, From then on, you control that Monster. The Dimensional Shamblers can emerge from their secret paths anytime, anywhere. Elder Things sap the will (and abilities) of the enemy Great Old Ones. Star Vampires suck the life-force out of an enemy Faction. And Servitors are a unique monster which is actually bad to have on your side - a player who first contacts the Servitors does not keep them for himself, but saddles a chosen enemy with their burden. Also included are six neutral Spellbooks, which can be taken by any player in place of his normal Spellbook. This adds a huge amount of strategic depth to the game; as with each new Spellbook, players have up to twelve choices in developing their Faction.
