Since the current team was formed in 2008, the Guardians of the Galaxy have become some of the Marvel Universe’s most popular characters. Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Groot and Rocket Raccoon have stopped numerous intergalactic threats – and starred in their own feature film – but they have yet to appear in the long-running Marvel Select line of action figures, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. Now, Marvel Shop, the Disney Store and Diamond Select Toys are proud to bring the full team to stores as four all-new action figure sets based on their comic book appearances! Star-Lord, a.k.a. Peter Quill, comes with interchangeable masked and unmasked heads, two Element Guns that can attach to his hips, an interchangeable hand that can hold a stolen crystal, and a pair of boot-jet flame effects, which can plug into the soles of his shoes. He also comes with a sculpted diorama piece, as well as a flight support stand. Star-Lord features 16 points of articulation and stands approximately 7.25 inches tall. Each figure set includes a sculpted diorama piece, which, when connected, forms a larger environment that measures 16 inches long. Each of the four sets come packaged in the trademark Select display packaging, with side-panel artwork for shelf reference.
