The S1 pickup for Strat style guitars has a stacked design, high output, and is extremely quiet. This single coil pickup is perfect to complement high output humbuckers in the same guitar. The S1 features a prominent mid-range while the low frequency response is clear, rich, and powerful. All EMG passive guitar pickups now include EMG #39;s solderless wiring kits allowing any number of wiring combinations and are fully shielded to minimize hum.
