GBS Control is an improved GBS8200 RGB to VGA converter board, and an alternative firmware for Tvia Trueview5725 based upscaler / Video converter board. The firmware of this device is powered by gbs-control designed by ramapcsx2, used with permission under an open-source copyright.

Attentions:
1) This device can't support composite and S-video signal.
As well as can't support JP RGB21 and RF.
2) HDMI and VGA outputs will not both work at the same time, You will only need one connected at a time.
3) If you want to switch the video input signal (when you have more than one input video source connected into this
device), you need to power off the device first to avoid potentially damaging the device.
4) When using, please refer to the instruction manual first. Any questions, please contact us.
5)GBSC does not support SFC PAL console

Instructions:
When connecting to RGBS signal, please turn on RGBS syns signal.
When connecting 480p progressive RGBS signal, please turn on RGBS sync and Green sync.
When connecting component signal, please turn off RGBS sync.
When connecting VGA signal, please turn on Green sync and turn off RGBS sync.
Firmware Update Guide
STEP1
: Download the NodeMCU-pyFlasher: (https://github.com/marcelstoer/nodemcu-pyflasher/releases)
GBS control firmware: (https://github.com/RetroScaler/GBSC)
STEP2
: Open nodemcu-PyFlasher
Connect the GBS control to your computer using the micro usb cable. Select the
proper COM port for your computer and choose the latest GBS control firmware.
STEP3:
Click "Flash NodeMCU". then wait for the installation to complete.
Web Gui Introductions
LOG IN TO THE WEB GUI:
Step1: Search for WIFI through phone or PC.
WifiName: gbscontrol
Password: qqqqqqqq
Step2: Enter IP (192.168.4.1) or URL (http://gbscontrol) in the browser address bar and go.
Step3: Click GBSC to enter the configuration page.
FAQ:
Q1: Does it work with video game system pal? Or do I have to modify my game from pal to NTSC?
A1: Yes, It work. And you needn't to modify the games from PAL to NTSC.
Q2: Does GBSC improve the resolution on Nintendo 64?
A2: Yes, It does. But It only can support the N64 console which can output RGBS signl. But can't support the N64 console which only can output AV and S-video Signal.
Q3: Can I use 5V2A power supply?
A3: Sure, friend. Since the voltage of each country may be different, some customers have reported that the effect of 5V2A power supply may be more stable. The equipped 5V1.5A power supply is available after our production test. Please use it with confidence.
Q4: Which signal inputs are supported?
A4: Supports RGBS, RGSB, RGBS SCART, RGBHV, Component and VGA Input. So, please confirm that your game console has these signal input methods before purchasing.
