The sensor is used to determine the soil moisture level.
When the level determined by the potentiometer is exceeded, the LED goes out and the relay contacts are switched. XYZHobby. The sensor, after being removed from the soil, takes a few seconds to level the humidity level before the LED lights up. The system is supplied with 12 V (coil). The device does not require additional elements such as microcontroller or controller. The relay output can be directly connected to an executive system such asa liquid pump or solenoid valve.
The device consists of three parts: measuring probe, relay module and wires.
The probes should be connected to the main module using wires and placed in the soil whose humidity will be measured. After taking it out, wait a few seconds until the sensor is ready for the next measurement (readiness indicated by the green LED on). Power supply to the 12 V relay coil should be connected to the VCC and GND terminals. XYZHobby. The relay contacts are connected via KF-301 connectors, to which wires can be mounted with a screwdriver.
It has time delay function, delay 3-5 seconds, when humidity is detected in the threshold state, the relay will not flicker
Adjusting soil moisture control threshold by potentiometer (clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to reduce), it can control soil humidity and automatically watering vegetable garden, flower garden or pot
