The ESP32-WROVER is a universal Wi-Fi+BT+BLE MCU module that is powerful and versatile for low-power sensor networks and demanding tasks such as voice coding, audio streaming and MP3 decoding.
The ESP32-WROVER is the same as the ESP-WROOM-32 with the ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip. The difference is that the ESP32-WROVER module is additionally equipped with a 32-Mbit SPI PSRAM. so the ESP32-WROVER comes with both 4MB SPI flash and 4 MB PSRAM.
The ESP32-WROVER uses a PCB onboard antenna and the ESP32-WROVER-I uses an IPEX antenna.
The ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip is scalable and adaptive. Two CPU cores can be individually controlled. The clock frequency can be adjusted from 80MHz to 240MHz. The user can turn off the power to the CPU and use the low-power coprocessor to monitor changes in the state of the peripheral or whether certain analogs exceed the threshold. The ESP32 also integrates a wide range of peripherals including capacitive touch sensors, Hall sensors, low noise sense amplifiers, SD card interfaces, Ethernet interfaces, high speed SPI, UART, I2S and I2C.
