It has a multilayer construction, 7 layers of the famous, 300-year-old hinoki wood, and 4 layers of carbon material, which is unusual for Nittaku.
The carbon layers are located very close to the top Hinoki layers.
Due to how lightweight Hinoki wood is, the blade does not feel heavy at all.
One needs a high level of table tennis skill to master this blade.
