How to judge the resistance value of air conditioner temperature sensor

Air-conditioning circuit designers take 25 degrees at room temperature as the benchmark, that is, at 25%, RT1=R1, RT2=R2, and the voltage at points A and B is 2.5V. Some circuits are equipped with R3 and R4, which mainly serve as a buffer. When the ambient temperature rises, the RTI resistance decreases, the voltage at point A rises, and the comparator outputs a differential pressure. After a series of processing inside the CPU, it controls the running status of the internal and external machines.

For large-scale air conditioners and inverter air conditioners, the sampling voltage of the temperature sensor connected to VI is not 2.5V, but 1/4 of the power supply voltage, which is 1.25V. In fact, there is a very simple way to determine the thermistor resistance. Choose a 50k potentiometer and a thermistor universal plug. For convenience, you can use a long wire to connect them. Unplug the suspected thermistor, plug in the universal plug, power on the air conditioner, and test the two potentiometers with a multimeter 5v. For the terminal voltage, slowly turn the potentiometer handle, and when the voltage is 2.5V, stop turning. At this time, the resistance of the potentiometer is the resistance of the thermistor. For example: the resistance value is 8k, and the ambient temperature is about 30C, then the resistance value of the temperature sensor is 10k.

How to judge the quality of air conditioner temperature sensor

If the air conditioner temperature sensor is broken, the following phenomena will appear, which can be used to judge the quality of the air conditioner temperature sensor:

1. The resistance value of the indoor ambient temperature sensor becomes larger, causing the air conditioner to start frequently.

2. The resistance value of the indoor pipe temperature sensor becomes smaller, which causes the whole machine to be protected soon after startup.

3. Indoor ambient temperature and pipe temperature sensing performance changes, causing the air conditioner to malfunction.

4. The temperature change value of the indoor tube is 0, which causes the whole machine to have no response when it is turned on by remote control.

The air conditioner temperature sensor is broken and the solution:

The sensor barrier of the temperature sensor occupies a relatively large proportion of the air-conditioning faults. To make an accurate judgment, we must first understand its function. There are three temperature sensors in the air-conditioning control section:

1. Room temperature sensor: It mainly detects the indoor temperature. When the indoor temperature reaches the set requirements, it controls the operation of the internal and external machines. The external machine stops during cooling, and the internal machine continues to run. When heating, the internal machine stops after blowing waste heat.

2. Indoor tube temperature sensor: It mainly detects the temperature of the coil of the indoor evaporator, and plays the role of anti-cold wind, anti-overheating protection and automatic temperature control during heating.

3. Outdoor defrost temperature sensor: It mainly detects the temperature of the outdoor condenser coil. When the outdoor coil temperature is lower than -6 degrees Celsius for 2 minutes, the internal unit turns to the defrosting state. When the resistance value of the outdoor coil sensor is too large , The indoor unit cannot work normally.
