The scent of Aldehyde C14 is fruity with notes of peach, creamy and lactonic. Discovered in 1908 through synthetic chemistry, Aldehyde C14 is widely used in perfumery for the reconstitution of the peach note. Aldehyde C-14 is most often used in fruity, floral, and exotic accords. Combined with aldehyde C18 (gamma-nonalactone), it blends perfectly with notes of gardenia, tuberose, orange blossom, honeysuckle, and many other floral accords.
