VL53L1X is an advanced time-of-flight (ToF) laser ranging sensor, it is a miniature ToF sensor, accurate measurement range up to 4 m, fast measurement frequency up to 50 Hz, it uses a miniature reflow package, integrated SPAD receiver array, 940 nm stealth laser emitter, Physical infrared filters and optics enable optimal ranging performance in a variety of ambient lighting conditions and provide a variety of shading window options. Different from traditional infrared sensors, the VL53L1X uses STToF technology to perform absolute range measurements regardless of target color and reflectance. The ROI size can also be programmed on the receiving array, allowing sensor FoV to be reduced.
