A Console Backlight from Hand-Held Legend is an easy to use thin LED panel that fits behind the original Game Boy LCD lighting up the screen from behind. Some modification to the console is required although this is a great task for a beginner.

The LED frontlight illuminates the screen on your For Game Boy Color, avoiding the need to play under a direct light source. The frontlight is just 1mm in thickness and sized exactly for use in the For Game Boy Color.

Using LOCA with the front light will improve the clarity of the image.

Please note: Installation requires soldering. Installation support is not included in the sale. Install smooth side down with red wire on the left side of the LCD. An improper curing process may cause spidering of the LOCA.
