The "ENCOUNTER" is a SHORE CASTING ROD that targets a wide variety of fish, including flounder, bluefish, and migratory fish, with sea bass as a representative target. Newly adopted SHIMANO's original technology "SPIRAL X" for further evolution of rod performance. Achieved both lightness and power while maintaining high strength. The increased rigidity of the torsion and crush also suppresses blurring and dullness, and provides a sharp feeling with a supple bend. The cast timing is easy to grasp, and the target of the hook can be controlled with the entire body, giving the lure an automatic feeling of performance. The items are available in a wide range of lengths and powers to accommodate a variety of lures.
