Evernew #39;s Bluenote Stove is a minimalist kit consisting of an alcohol stove and a preheating cup. The aluminum burner is ultra-light, weighing only 13.5 grams. Very easy to use, it allows the boiling of 330 ml of ter in 5 minutes. With a diameter of 45 millimeters and a height of 32 millimeters it is very compact. The use of a preheating cup is recommended when it is very cold because the heating power of an alcohol stove decreases. To remedy this and to save fuel, the preheating cup brings the alcohol up to temperature. Simply soak a cotton ball in alcohol, ignite it and put the alcohol stove on top of it, then light it in turn. This practice is recommended for winter bivouacs for a quicker start and a better heating performance.
