Dash-1 Yonkuro (Item 18015 & 18625) was serialized by Shogakukan in their monthly Coro Coro comic magazine for five years between 1987and 1992. His main rival was Dankuro Todas Mini 4WD. In 1989 the Type-1 chassis with spike tires went on sale and sold 1,971,557 units until 1990. In 1990 the Type-3 chassis with slick tires went on sale and sold a further 1,019,587 units until 2004.
