PIN GRADING
1. A Grade / Standard Grade pin
To be worn and collected.
My pins are handmade and are meant to be worn. Some will have minor cosmeticflaws such as:
- stray glitter
- minor enamel underfill
- minor and not noticeable dust on enamel
- tiny bubbles in enamel, glitter, and coating
- small bubbles, dents, or scratches in enamel fill
- imperfection on the sides or back of the pin
- small missing enamel on very small area
- slight discoloration and imperfections on the metal plating
2. B Grade / Seconds Grade pin
For budget collectors.
- multiple areas of underfilled enamel
- missing enamel
- areas of low glitter
- chipped metal plating
- discoloration / staining
- overfilled enamel that floods some metal lines
- large amounts of glitter in areas where there shouldn't be
- excessive bubbles and scracthes
3. C Grades
Still needs your love.
I don't usually have this grade in my batches, but sometimes I do. They have very visible multiple major defects and also might have:
- missing posts
- noticeable flaws from far
- large missing plating on the metal sides
They don't consist all of these in one pin, only 1-2 minor defects per pin. Flaws differ between each pin and will be chosen at random. When you purchase a pin, you agree to accept the item as is according to my grading system.
