The K2 2.85V 3400F supercaps use DuraBlue' Shock and Vibration Technology. Maxwell K2 Series 650F - 3,000F Ultracapacitors / Supercapacitors provide 2.7V with an ultra-low internal resistance and the highest power performance available. The K2 Ultracapacitors feature a cylindrical design and an electrostatic storage capability that can cycle a million charges and discharges without performance degradation. The Maxwell K2 Series 650F - 3,000F Ultracapacitors / Supercapacitors cells are useful for automotive subsystems, medical devices, UPS/backup power, and wind turbine pitch control, as well as many other applications which require a pulse of energy that cannot be efficiently provided by a battery or power supply alone (can work in tandem with batteries).
