The Contrail by C3yoyodesign is the signature off string yo-yo of 4A World Champion Rei Iwakura, designed to meet the needs of players from beginners to elite-level competitors. Lighter and faster than Rei’s previous flagship model Flawless, the Contrail offers an impressive balance of speed and float, making it easier to control during fast-paced off string combos and high-risk soloham (double off string) maneuvers. Its step-straight profile and wide body significantly improve catchability and hit ratios, which are essential for off string tricks.


One standout feature is the mid-bump design, rarely seen in off string yo-yos. This unique structure helps minimize sleep loss and enhances regens—making it an ideal tool for mastering complex techniques. The yo-yo also comes tuned with a beginner-friendly setup, but its performance can be customized by using alternative spacers (such as those from the Flawless or Submarine), allowing players to fine-tune the gap width and responsiveness as their skills progress.
