The Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible in the New International Version is one more way in which AMG Publishers is seeking to accomplish the goal for which it was established: to make key aspects of the vocabulary and syntax of the original languages available and understandable for everyone, whether or not they have had formal training in the Biblical languages.

This Bible uses the numbers of the Goodrick/Kohlenberger numbering system to identify key words of the original languages. Significant elements of Greek syntax are identified by the use of grammatical codes on the English text of the New Testament.

The study helps in the back of the Bible help to make this a complete study tool for those who love the Word of God. Kohlenberger's dictionaries provide clear definitions and basic etymology for every word found in the Hebrew and Greek texts. In addition, for each Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek word, Kohlenberger has listed the primary English words used to translate that word in the NIV. In the Lexical Aids sections, we have given more detailed explanations of key words of the original languages. For those more familiar with Strong's numbering system, we have provided indexes to help the reader identify the Goodrick/Kohlenberger equivalent of a partic- ular Strong's number and vice versa. vbute obis
