M5Stack M5Core2 IMU 6 DOF ESP32 MPU6886 IoT Development Kit
The M5Core2 is the second-generation core device in the M5Stack development kit series, further enhancing the functionality of the previous generation core.
The MCU used is the ESP32 D0WDQ6-V3 model and is equipped with a 32-bit 240Mhz LX6 dual-core Xtensa processor that can be controlled separately. Wi-Fi is supported as standard, and the device includes 16MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM onboard, a USB TYPE-C interface for charging, program downloading, and serial communication, an integrated 2.0-inch capacitive touchscreen, and a built-in vibration motor.
The M5Core2 also features a built-in RTC module that can provide accurate timekeeping. Power is managed by the AXP192 power management chip, which can effectively control power consumption from the ground up, as well as an integrated green LED power indicator that helps inform users of battery levels. The battery capacity has been increased to 390mAh, which can provide longer power than the previous model.
The M5Core2 retains the TF (microSD) card slot and speaker. However, in order to ensure higher quality sound output, the I2S digital audio interface power amplifier chip is used to effectively prevent signal distortion. There are independent power and reset buttons on the left and bottom of the base.
The three icons on the front of the screen are programmable capacitive buttons. There is a small expansion board behind the base equipped with a 6-axis IMU sensor and a microphone. Development platforms and programming languages supported by M5Stack Core2: Arduino, UIFlow (using Blockly, MicroPython language). No matter what level of development and programming skills you have, M5Stack will help you gradually turn your ideas into reality.

- Power on: Press the power button on the left once
- Power off: Press and hold the left power button for 6 seconds
- Reset: Press the RST button on the bottom

Note:
To stack M5Core2 with other M5 modules, you need to remove/unmount the battery bottom of Core2; If you want to keep the I2S Microphone, IMU and Battery functions, you need M5GO Bottom2.
The vibration sensor of M5Core2 and M5 Base series are not compatible in mechanical design. Please do not stack them together.
Some screen edges may have touch non-linearity issues, you can try to use M5Tool to update the screen firmware to solve this problem.
