This tubular compass can be mounted to all models of Sokkia brand Total stations, Theodolites and transits right on top of the handle or on the side of standard of a transit, theodolite or total station, which had an accessory clip on the side.
It is only used to find North and South. There is no circle etc. The needle pivots freely and the clamp works fine
