The Ranger is a small, lightweight handheld meter designed to bring laboratory features to field or facility surveying in industrial environments. The Radiation Alert(R) instrument offers excellent sensitivity to low levels of alpha, beta, gamma, and X-rays. Built-in efficiencies for common isotopes calculate activity in Bq and DPM. The instrument has a backlit digital readout display, with a red count light and beeper that sounds with each count detected. It features selectable alerts and an adjustable timer. The Radiation Survey Meter is complete with Observer USB software to set alarms and download data for reporting.Note: This meter was treated using standards whose accuracies are traceable to NIST.
