Kenapa mengukur TVOC & CO2?
- TVOC refers to total volatile organic compounds, containing thousands of compounds. VOCs include benzene, formaldehyde, ethylene glycol, methylene chloride, tetrachloroethylene, toluene. These usually come from: tobacco, household cleaners, paints & solvents, disinfectant, air freshners. Exposure to VOC can cause damage to liver, kidneys and the central nervous system.
- CO₂ (carbon dioxide) is a common compound existing in the air. Human breath is the main cause of CO₂ increase in indoor environments. People may feel sleepy when CO₂ concentration is high. It has also been found that poor ventilation increase the risk of contracting airborne diseases such as influenza or Covid-19. Open windows or turn on air ventilating devices can reduce CO₂ efficiently.
