Flushing filter 30µm
The Protector Mini consists of a head made of brass with 1/4" pressure gauge connection and internal and external thread connection. The lower part is made of plastic and surrounds the particulate filter itself. It is made of stainless steel and has a fineness of 30µm. In addition, 2 connection fittings and the flushing valve are included. The filter is already mounted.
The flushing filter is designed to filter drinking and service water. It also protects the water pipes and the connected parts of the water transport system against malfunctions and corrosion damage. These are mainly caused by foreign particles, such as rust particles, chips, sand, etc. As these particles are now filtered out, this damage is prevented in the long term. The filter is not suitable for oils, greases, solvents, and other lubricating media.
How does it work?
The water flows through the water inlet of the pipe into the filter and there from the outside to the inside through the filter element to the clean water outlet. In the process, foreign particles >30µm are retained on the outside of the filter. The dirt accumulates more and more in the filter. Therefore, you should replace or thoroughly clean the filter when the filter performance decreases considerably or after 6 months at the latest.
