Dense and wild Why we love it: Double Espresso Chiaro is a blend of Latin American Arabica coffees. This double espresso has both washed and dry processed Arabicas in it. The two coffee processes give distinctly different aromatic profiles and so we split roast the two kinds to bring out the best flavour in each. GST. ) ORIGIN We were inspired by the Italian espresso tradition but wanted to give you a long espresso - a double shot instead of just a single espresso. To do that we use more grams of coffee in each capsule so it extracts as a double shot espresso. We used all Arabica coffees - the powers in the taste. This double long espresso is built on a blend of Arabica coffees from South and Central America. Some are washed processed - others dry processed. ROASTING Vertuo Double Espresso Chiaro is intensely and quickly roasted to reveal a range of woody notes. The splits of roasting are determined by the coffee processes used: one split is fully washed Arabicas, the other a dry processed. In this way, the best of each is brought out by particular roast parameters. AROMATIC PROFILE Vertuo Double Espresso Chiaro blend combines Central and South American Arabica beans - an intense yet balanced coffee resulting from the combination of a slow flow and a high extraction temperature.
