Description:
PREAMP MODEL X is a two-channel digital pre-amplifier based on Magic Ear MNRS sampling technology. It provides 28 replaceable (including factory) preamp and global speaker loading positions and 3 boxes that can support GIR and third-party IR loading. The user can download massive speaker data by logging into the MOOER STUDIO webpage, and load and replace the original factory data. Supported by the X2 hardware platform, PREAMP MODEL X has a total of 14 preset positions, each of which supports custom loading of two channel data, and can switch between channels and presets by double stepping nails.
MOOER MNRS (Intelligent Reverse Modeling) sampling technology covers speaker front stage, speaker global (GNR) sampling and GIR cabinet simulation sampling. Users can freely combine sampled data according to different scenarios to match their own recording and performance equipment. Users can load the pre-level data and connect to the electric guitar speaker to get the intuitive sound effect; they can also load the global sampling and directly input the full-range equipment to realize the operation without real speakers; they can also combine the pre-level simulation with different cabinet simulations to get Distinctive personality tone.

Firmware Update (Boot to update mode manually):
You can update the firmware of the Preamp Model X using the editor software on yourcomputer. You can boot the device to update mode using the footswitches and buttons, orfrom the editor software. The hardware bootup procedure can be found below or you canrefer to the software boot up procedure in the editor software section of this manual.
*Power off the device.
*Press and hold both footswitches + SAVE button while powering on the device.
*The Preset Indicator will blink in different colors as it is boots to update mode.
*Connect the device to a computer using a USB cable.
*Open the Preamp Model X editor software. The update window will pop up.
*Click on START to begin the update. Wait for a few minutes until the update is complete.
