The DHS TG 506X blade is a complete clone of the popular Butterfly Viscaria blade. Why did DHS make it? So that those tennis players for whom Viscaria is beyond their budget can afford the same blade, but at a lower price.
Note: The 506X has a different handle and blade shape than the Viscaria. The blade here is a couple of mm longer, and the handle is noticeably thinner and of a different shape.
Not to be confused with two other blades from DHS with very similar names - TG 506 and especially TG 506+
Design Note: Don't be surprised that some photos show a printed blade and others show a non-printed blade. The fact is that the print is not applied to the wood, but to a protective film into which the new base is sealed. So the look with a print is a photo in film.
Contains 5 layers of wood with 2 layers of arylate-carbon (ALC).
The TG-506 X is an attacking blade that, in addition to increasing the spot of stable rebound, has a softer ball feel than blades containing regular carbon.
Very comfortable for any type of attack, with a good balance of speed and control and a very soft feeling of the ball.
