This Shin-Etsu G-3W-0 series of silicone greases is now known as the G30 series. The equivalent grease to Honda part number is now the G-30M
It is recommended in Honda manuals that you apply silicone grease to the rubber seals of your car every 3-6 months to protect against squeaks and leaks
When applying silicone grease it is recommended that all old grime and grease is removed from the seal before the application of fresh grease. Then put some Shin-Etsu G-30M onto a clean cloth and rub it into the rubber seals around the doors, window and sunroof, the boot and under the bonnet may also require application process should be repeated twice, to ensure that the grease has been worked into the rubber surface as much as possible
