Puntang Coffee is a cooperative located in Mount Puntang, West Java with more than 155 active members. Cherries are received from 3 different villages located at altitude ranging from 1350 to 1750 masl. Puntang Coffee grows mainly S-795, Typica and Bourbon. These varieties are lower in production and prone to major diseases but have excellent cup qualities. This lot is made up of only Bourbon variety.
Managed by Mr. Irwansyah, Puntang Coffee is commited to fair practices. This means they present price transparency to the members of the cooperative, promote more sustainable coffee production by using less synthetic fertilizers and pesticides in the farm, and educate farmers on necessary knowledge.
