Balfour Self Retaining Retractor / Klem Balfour - 18 cm

The Balfour Retractor frame is used to obtain self-retaining retractions in abdominal procedures. It consists of transverse parallel bars that serve as resilient attachments for three retracting blades. The two lateral blades have an outward curve to enhance the visibility of the surgical field. One blade is fixed and the other blade is movable on the transverse assembly. The assembly also features a central projection for the attachment of a central Balfour blade. The Balfour Retractor frame can produce a spread of 180 mm.
