Cusco Vaginal Speculum - Small

The Cusco Vaginal Speculum is used to spread the walls of the vagina during outpatient gynecological procedures as well as surgeries including vaginal examination, cervical examination, Pap smear, IUCD insertion, dilation and evacuation and dilation and curettage. The instrument consists of 2 blades arranged in a duck bill manner that are attached to a hinge at the back with a screw lock mechanism. The size ranges from 75 by 32 to 100 by 37 mm according to anatomical requirements. The surgeon lubricates the Cusco Vaginal Speculum and gently inserts the closed speculum inside the vagina. She then opens the blades gently and fixes them at the required dilation by adjusting the screw, this allows the surgeon to perform procedures without any aid from an assistant.
