The Richardson-Eastman Retractor is a general double-ended retractor that is used to pull back wound edges in general surgical procedures. This is a set of two blades, one with a length of 26 cm and the second has a length of 27 cm. Each retractor consists of a central cylindrical handle with a lateral curvature of the necks. It has two dissimilar blades that have a concave outer surface and downward projections to lock onto the retracted tissues. The shorter blade is used at the start of an incision, and the longer blade is used when the wound is deeper.
