CeramicSpeed bearings are handmade in Denmark and installed in aluminum cups made by European Rotor Components. CeramicSpeed PF30 Bottom Bracket for GXP cranks with 22/24mm axle and frames with 46mm shell diameter. Every single bearing is hand built under clean room conditions. All parts are selected by hand for perfect fit, each bearing is spun by hand multiple times during the building process to ensure that all parts are matched perfectly. CeramicSpeed balls are smoother, harder and lighter than the standard steel balls which are typically used in bicycle components.
High quality spacer for different housing sizes included.
Coated bearings have an extremely thin (2-3 microns) protective coating on the running surfaces, which is 75% harder than hardened steel. This layer is applied to the entire running surface, which makes the bearing even less sensitive to contamination and reduces friction even further.
